Connorco Limited has developed Material Recycling Facilities at its sites in Hendon and Washington Sunderland.
Through these facilities and the successful reputation that Connorco and Stirling Fibre have established historically, Connorco has been selected as the preferred partner to manage the City of Sunderland's kerbside recycling waste.
The contract will involve Connorco accepting and processing circa 25000 tonnes of dry recyclates from the City of Sunderland.
